The 3 day fest witnessed a huge gathering of more than 25000 students, faculty members and guests enjoying the festive fervor.

Rock bands of students from various colleges of Delhi-NCR swayed the crowd by their infectious musical performance at Anarchy-The Battle of bands, on day first. Apart from the rock band competition, Nukkad nataks in informal stage-1 also won huge applause of audiences. On a raised dais with arc shaped seating in front, these young artists enthralled and charmed the gathered audiences with their performances.
The main attraction of the evening on day one was the event 'Scintillations' which was a fashion show by students of various fashion institutes clad in their designer wears. The divine and entertaining fashion show witnessed several fashion students walking the ramp. A sense of optimism and excitement was clearly visible in their confident walks. JD Institute of Fashion & Technology stole the show with their creative designs whereas APJ College, Greater Noida and Galgotias University bagged second and third positions respectively. Rhoit Maggu from JD Institute of Fashion & Technology and Poorva from APJ College won the titles of best male and female models.

Day second and third had more to offer as these evenings were packed with celebrity performances. With the setting sun, it was time to add to the fun, with Mika Singh who made the crowd groove to Singh is king’, Jugni, and many more of his zippy numbers. Audiences were not in a mood to miss his signature song Gabru.
Delhi loves anything Punjabi, especially when it's Punjabi beats. Therefore, it was no surprise that the venue was jam-packed when Punjabi rapper Honey Singh performed on day third. His performance was followed by pujabi kings RDB. Nindy Kaur who is going to release her second single, 2 Seater was also accompanying them. The trio set stage on fire and made the crowd go mad with their rocking beats!!
Ample security arrangements were made in and around the venue. CCTV Cameras, Metal Detectors local police personnel and even special security personnel were deployed to ensure smooth proceedings at the event and to prevent any untoward situation.
Mr.Dhruv Galgotia, CEO-Galgotias Educational Institutions thanked and appreciated the commitment of the people involved in this fest to make it successful. Vinnie Mathur, Dean Student Welfares at Galgotias University inspired the gathering with her words of appreciation.
G-Quasar 2012 has come and gone and as expected the festival was bright, bustling and action packed. The G-quasar Team promises to be back next year with more fun and more excitement.
